🏁🏎 First time seeing the “La Voiture Noire” Bugatti at the Canadian International Auto Show and I got to say, wow what a stunning car this is. First a little bit of history. The Type 57 SC Atlantic is an iconic automotive ca that is elegant, sporty, luxurious and very much rare. This is perhaps Bugatti’s famous and greatest car that they have made to date. There were only four of these cars created between 1936 and 1938. Three of these coupes are still in existence today. They are regarded in the automotive industry as some of the most valuable cars in the world today. However, the search for the fourth Atlantic Type 57 SC vin 57 374 has yet to be found. It is not clear whether Jean Bugatti sold the car to a racing driver amongst friends or whether it was moved amid the invasion of France from the German Army in the Second World War. The car, if found, is said to be worth around $114 million US dollars today. That would be a nice pay day gotta say. It is not clear whether Jean Bugatti sold the car to a racing driver amongst friends or whether it was moved amid the invasion of France from the German Army in the Second World War. .
Now what does this car have to do with the La Voiture Noire. Well the Type 57 SC Atlantic was named the black car (La Voiture Noire) with a front bumper and lower doors as a model for photos in brochures and a demonstration car for international motor shows such as those in Lyon and Nice. The new modern version of the car looks stunning with accents from all Bugatti’s and you can see the history throughout the car. Don’t think its worth what they’re asking but hey, if you got the money why not?
